Body, Mind, Spirit, and Heart

With deep humility and a heart rooted in tradition, I offer sacred space for healing, recovery, wellness, and reconnection to Spirit. I’ve been walking the Red Road of recovery, service, and ceremony for many years.


Through lived experience, ancestral teachings, trauma-informed care, and a foundation in holistic wellness, I walk beside individuals, families, and communities seeking healing in all forms emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical.


Here are some of the Curriculums I am humbly honored to Teach:


  • Medicine Wheel & 12 Steps – A powerful recovery journey that integrates Native teachings with the path of sobriety and spiritual growth.  The Medicine Wheel and 12 Step Curriculum was developed to provide a culturally appropriate 12 Step program for Native American people. This program was developed by White Bison, based upon Teachings of the Medi cine Wheel, the Cycle of Life and the Four Laws of Change.
     
  • Warrior Down Recovery Support –Transformative 12-week relapse prevention Curriculum initiative focusing on recovery support and community reintegration and for those returning from relapse, offering unconditional support and community reconnection which aims to support individuals transitioning from treatment or incarceration, as well as those actively engaged in their recovery journey. It provides tools and resources to help participants prevent relapse and navigate the challenges of sustained recovery.
     
  • Mending Broken Hearts –The Mending Broken Hearts Curriculum provides culturally based healing from grief, loss, and Intergenerational Trauma, especially for Native People. Adults who have experienced personal loss due to death, broken or unresolved relationships, the impact of family history of boarding school experiences. This Curriculum provides a natural order for dealing with unresolved grief, reconnecting to cultural practices that enhance healing.
     
  • Talk Saves Lives –Talk Saves Lives: An Introduction to Suicide Prevention is AFSP’s flagship suicide prevention education program that covers the scope of this leading cause of death, what the research has found to be the warning signs and risk factors of suicide, and the strategies that prevent it. In honor of my daughter Nicole who completed suicide 2014 at the age of 24, I teach this suicide prevention presentation offering awareness, hope, and tools for life-saving conversations.
     
  • Motherhood/Fatherhood is Sacred –(FIS/MIS) Honoring our roles as life-givers and protectors through cultural teachings, this parenting education Curriculum is designed to strengthen Native American families. FIS/MIS aims to help fathers and mothers actively engage with their families while also connecting with their Native American heritage and the sacred responsibilities of being a parent.  
     
  • Generation Red Road – NextGen Recovery Curriculum for Adults: Empowering youth and families through tradition, prevention, and identity.  A cognitive & experiential curriculum on Native American/Indigenous Philosophies activating the spirit for individuals, families and communities. Adult participants will be guided through lessons on the impacts of alcohol and drugs on the mind, body and spirit.  


  • Domestic Violence/Intimate Partner Violence Advocacy, MMIR (Missing Murdered Indigenous Relatives) Advocate - Native and Non-Native Focused, Certified with over 200 Hour Sexual Assault, Sex Trafficking MMIR, Intimate Partner Violence, Advocacy Training. STOP Program, Through the Teachings of our Grandmothers Curriculum. 


  • T2 Prevention- The U.S. Centers for Disease Control PreventT2 Curriculum promotes modest weight loss (5%), increased physical activity, and reduction in A1C through a 12-month lifestyle change program while also reflecting new literature on self-efficacy, physical activity, and diet. 


*Talking Circles & Traditional Ceremonies Teaching– Held with love, prayer, and guidance from Creator. These spaces are a return to balance, for truth-telling, support, self-awareness, spiritual connection, intentional healing and a spiritual act of remembering.

*As a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer- I believe that caring for our bodies is a sacred act of self-love and survival. Physical wellness, movement, and nutrition are part of our medicine, and I offer support for creating healthy, sustainable habits rooted in balance and culture.

*As an Illinois Mandated Reporter and ICWA (Indian Child Welfare Act) Child Advocate - I help those children who do not have a voice, advocate for their safety from perpetrators and predators, home placement within their own cultural and traditional teachings and relatives and advocacy for their own little healing Journey's.
